Mma Vs Boxing

Some say that Mma has passed boxing as the prominent combat sport and there's no request about it. Is this true? Is boxing loosing in popularity due to the grow of mixed martial arts? Mma vs Boxing is a field that has been analyzed by many. On the other hand, some I think that both sports are very unlike and have distinct kind of champions. Nevertheless both boxing and mixed martial arts have a similar appeal based on the combative nature of each sport and both attract largely male demographics (ages 20-40). People love to watch fights and both sports furnish fights.

For all of their shallow similarities - punches, gloves, mouth guards and often violent conclusions, boxing and Mma are each fought under distinct sets of rules. In boxing, fighters use their hands as weapons, fight three-minute rounds, and can only fight for an upper limit of 12 rounds based on the unified rules of boxing commissions. In Mma, fighters can use not only their hands but their legs (kicks and grappling) as weapons as well. They have to fight five-minute rounds, and can only fight a maximum of five rounds based on championship fighting rules.

THAI BOXING

On the Mma vs boxing moot a lot of the anti-Mma mass will claim mixed martial arts too barbaric. Of course this is largely due to lack of knowledge of the rules. Mma has regulations just like boxing. There is no biting, poking, low blows and any of that sort. You can't argue that mixed martial arts are too barbaric when boxers punch each other in the face for 12 rounds! If someone thinks the Mma is too violent then they can't be fans of boxing either, because it is also a violent sport.

Mma Vs Boxing

As you can see, discussing Mma Vs Boxing is a difficult and confusing thing. Boxing fans are turning to mma because boxing did not furnish a superstar for a long time. (Ex. Mike Tyson) I think that mma and boxing are two distinct sports and that fans should enjoy both and not pick sides.
